Mid-winter in the Metropolis, yet it was far warmer than it should have been. What little snow had fallen was nearly gone. While the present situation dictated this was not a bad thing, neither was it normal.

The rumour around the camp was the Overlord had created massive heat generators that could actually affect the climate. So the Saurians couldn't be defeated the same way they had been before.

Nosedive didn't care. Squeezing his eyes shut, he huddled closer to his brother and tried to block out the sound of melting icicles just outside the shattered window.
